Audra House - Voice Instructor

Audra House is a Doctoral Candidate in Vocal Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Her research explores the connection between music performance, mind-body integration, and trauma-informed pedagogy. As a graduate assistant, she taught Elective Voice, Voice for Acting Majors, and a conservatory-specific Mind-Body Course.

A classically trained soprano, Audra performed with Cincinnati Opera during their 2022 season and has won multiple awards over the past decade. She has studied with Daniel Johnson-Wilmot and Karen S. Lykes. With over ten years of teaching experience, she values vocal versatility and teaches classical, musical theater, and contemporary commercial styles.

Rooted in scientifically based vocal pedagogy, her teaching philosophy emphasizes artistic wholeness—helping students develop as musicians while embracing their unique artistic journey. She currently lives in Holmen, WI, with her husband, daughter, and two feisty dogs.
